It’s been a while since my last beauty post, so today I thought I would share with you my current morning skincare routine with CHANEL & NeoStrata.
Many long time readers would know that ever since I have done Beauty PR for some of the most fantastic skincare brands in the world, I have learned so much about taking care of my skin and using effective products that give excellent results.
CLEANSERS:
Every morning I start by washing my face with either CHANEL La Mousse Anti-Pollution Cleansing Cream-to-Foam or CHANEL L’Huile Anti-Pollution Cleansing Oil.
The La Mousse has been an ultimate favorite of mine for almost a year, and it is the one cleanser I swear by. Recently I have been introduced to L’Huile, which acts as a makeup remover at night and a morning cleanser in the morning. I love the silky texture of this product that transforms into a soft lather upon contact with water.
ANTIOXIDANT & SUNSCREAM:
About five years ago, I learned about the importance of introducing antioxidants to my skincare routine, and it has ever since been life-changing!
Did you know that wearing sunscreen alone doesn’t always provide complete protection from environmental factors – such as UV rays, pollution, blue light, and other prevalent toxins? That’s where antioxidants come in. It is especially important to use an antioxidant daily because our skin is exposed to free radicals without proper protection, and can cause sunspots, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles, and skin with compromised elasticity.
I am totally obsessed with the NeoStrata® Skin Active Antioxidant Defense Serum. Key ingredients include eight potent, multi-action antioxidants to scavenge free radicals, combat oxidative damage, reduce lipid peroxidation and inflammation, and to protect DNA from premature aging.
In terms of sun protection, my ultimate go-to product is Heliocare 360º Water Gel Sunscreen SPF50+. It provides long-lasting hydration with broad-spectrum protection against UVB, UVA, Visible Light, and IR-A. The ultra-light, aqueous water-gel absorbs rapidly and leaves no white residue, but it forms an invisible film over the skin to protect it from daily environmental challenges like pollution.
NECK CREAM:
To be honest, I had never used a neck cream before until I started working on the NeoStrata brand this year. However, especially since working from home so much and with my head down working on my laptop and being on my phone, I realised the importance of using a neck cream. After using this product for 3 months now, I have noticed that the skin on my neck is noticeably moister and smoother.
EYE CREAM:
