I love beautiful hotel bathrooms, in fact, it is one of the first things I look out for before I even book my accommodation. I find my bathroom rituals are different when I travel than they are at home because the function of that room is altered and enlarged. When I travel, I am off my routine and in need of comfort, warmth, and cleansing. A hotel bathroom is like a spa to me where I don’t have to see other people, a proverbial vacation from my vacation. To me, it is literally the best seat in the house when rating any destination.
I have rounded up some of my most favorite, breathtaking bathrooms around the world and South Africa.
