I stumbled across La Residence Blanc D’Angkor through the Instagram page of travel bloggers The Globbers. Located in the township of Siem Reap, Cambodia, this small boutique hotel radiates luxury within an intimate and refined setting. I loved that it was about 5 minutes away from Pub Street and about 15 minutes from the Angkor Wat temple area.

Upon arrival, you are greeted like royalty by their super friendly and accommodating staff.
During my hotel tour, I learned that the hotel is devoted to preserving traditional Khmer culture, not only in their design but also with their recruiting process. In fact, 70% of their polite and helpful staff are Khmer students, but what I loved the most was that La Residence Blanc D’Angkor’s long-term goal aims to increase employment in Cambodia and contribute to sustainable tourism development in Cambodia.
The rooms are spacious with a unique wall painting designed by a Cambodian artist.
The most beautiful feature of La Residence Blanc D’Angkor was the beautiful pool in the heart of the courtyard that was surrounded by lush tropical greenery and a gorgeous outdoor shower, the perfect way to spend an afternoon after exploring temples in the warm Cambodian sun.
