I had a genuinely indulgent facial experience at The Silo Spa at The Silo Hotel in Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront recently.
The Silo Spa is located on the 4th Floor of the recently launched The Silo Hotel. It has 5 treatment rooms, two of which can be made into a couple’s room. The Silo Spa is a tranquil space in which guests can relax and indulge in the latest therapies and spa techniques. There’s also a gym, sauna and a dedicated manicure and pedicure area.
With the end of the year fast approaching, my skin was in pressing need of a proper facial, and I thought of trying out my first QMS facial experience at The Silo Spa.
I booked their deep cleansing intense 1-hour facial, which is perfect for distressed skin that’s showing the first signs of skin aging. The treatment was so delicate and soothing it was instantly relaxing and I soon entered a state of meditation. The highlight for me, however, was a QMS Algae mask – an about 1cm thick face mask that was coupled with a great hand massaged. At that moment, I could literally feel the stresses from a hectic few weeks at work just melt away.
Visiting The Silo Spa is worth every cent, and I can highly recommend it for locals and international visitors.
