I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Sandton. The hotel is located in the heart of the city’s upscale business district and within walking distance of the Gautrain Station which makes it ideal for anyone traveling to Johannesburg for business as I did recently for the BMW Advanced Driving Experience.

With 290 rooms the hotel features a contemporary and classic design complemented by magical views of the city. If you travel to Sandton end October / November, you will see purple Jacaranda trees in full bloom.
I was particularly satisfied with the Radisson Blu Hotel’s free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the property; I did not once loose signal.
The beautiful rooftop sundeck pool area will take your breath away, and another bonus is their relaxing spa and fully equipped Planet Fitness Platinum Gym (both which I could not try due to time constraints).
The Radisson Blu Hotel Sandton recently renovated their Italian themed Vivace restaurant and added a special creative touch to their breakfast. I also enjoyed a quiet dinner and had their Matured Beef rib-eye steak with mustard, fries and rocket, which was of top quality.
